BIKE RACK RECORDS VOL. 1

In 2018, I was tasked with creating a logo, album art and event poster for Bike Rack Brewing Company’s record label. This project sponsored local artists to have professional recordings completed and also showcase their talent live both on premise and at the album release party.

For the album art, I was given a lot of freedom. For this, I poured beer and various paints both oil and water based into a basin and physically manipulated it. This was then photographed and manipulated further in Adobe photoshop before formatting it and adding text.

The logo needed to mesh well with the brewery’s current branding. It features a clean, simple type focused design and a small illustration of a hop plant.
